Abstract
The development of computer and information technology has brought human life to enter digital and cyber services, where all lines of life can be carried out through applications and the touch of a finger, including counseling services. Counseling services develop from classical services to cyber counseling, where clients do not require physical face-to-face meetings. The cyber counseling service developed in this article uses the Edlink Sevima platform which is integrated with the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) platform. This cyber counseling service is named the Counseling Room which is integrated into the faculty website. The Counseling Room provides services in the form of individual and group counseling with synchronous and asynchronous offerings, where clients and counselors can enter the Counseling Room by utilizing the chat room provided or by making an appointment to enter a video conference via the Zoom application or Microsoft Teams. The method used in writing this article is model development and literature analysis. This cyber counseling service is intended to help students express their problems, both academic and non-academic, to the counselor.
Perkembangan teknologi komputer dan informasi membawa kehidupan manusia untuk masuk ke layanan digital dan cyber, di mana semua lini kehidupan dapat dijalankan melalui aplikasi dan sentuhan jari tangan termasuk layanan konseling. Layanan konseling berkembang dari layanan klasikal menjadi cyber counseling, di mana klien tidak memerlukan tatap muka secara fisik. Layanan cyber counseling yang dikembangkan dalam artikel ini menggunakan platform Edlink Sevima yang terintegrasi dengan platform Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIAKAD). Layanan cyber counseling ini diberi nama Ruang Konseling yang diinterasikan ke website fakultas. Ruang Konseling menyediakan layanan dalam bentuk konseling individual maupun kelompok dengan sajian sinkronus maupun asinkronus, di mana klien dan konselor dapat masuk ke Ruang Konseling dengan memanfaatkan room chat yang disediakan ataupun dengan janjian untuk masuk ke video conference melalui aplikasi zoom atau microsoft teams. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini yaitu pengembangan model dan analisis literatur. Layanan cyber counseling ini ditujukan untuk membantu mahasiswa mencurahkan permasalahannya baik akademik maupun non akademik kepada konselor.
